Woodbridge Primary School

Woodbridge aspires to be the most caring and encouraging community school

Visual Arts

Class Program

All students from Years PP - 6 attend visual arts lessons for 100 minutes a week with an Arts specialist teacher. The students examine Art across a broad timeline spectrum, investigating and producing art works from different cultures.

The students are exposed to a wide variety of art mediums including drawing, painting, printing, papier mache, clay work and mixed media. They are actively encouraged to problem solve and work creatively when designing and making their art pieces.

Extension Program

Woodbridge PS has a cohort of students that are gifted in the Visual Arts. To foster the interest and extend the art skills of these talented students, we deliver an Extension Art Programs to senior students. Many of these students successfully apply for GATE Visual Art Programs at Governor Stirling, John Curtin and Kalamunda Senior High Schools.

Art Exhibition

The students showcase their art work at an annual school Art Exhibition.

The school welcomes members of the community to join us for this wonderful celebration of our students' achievements.
