Woodbridge Primary School

Woodbridge aspires to be the most caring and encouraging community school

Principal's Welcome

We welcome you to Woodbridge Primary School's website and the Woodbridge community

As Principal of Woodbridge Primary School, I am delighted to welcome you to our website.   Our aim is to keep you informed of school plans, programs, events, and successes.

A positive and caring atmosphere permeates throughout the Woodbridge Primary School community, making it a rewarding and happy place to learn, grow and work together. We thrive on the ethos of ‘Aspiring to be the most caring and encouraging community school'’.

At Woodbridge Primary School students are supported to be engaged, resilient learners with a commitment to doing their best. Classroom teaching and learning programs reflect the focus on high quality curriculum delivery and the development of the whole child.

Woodbridge Primary School is held in high regard by the community. It is a school staffed by a team of teachers and allied professionals committed to delivering high quality educational programs in a caring, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Teachers support and encourage the development of positive behaviours, explicitly teaching key skills within our implementation of the Positive Behaviour Schools (PBS) Framework. At Woodbridge Primary School students are taught and expected to be:

  • Respectful
  • Responsible (Safe)
  • Caring
  • Aspiring (Ready to learn)

Parents and carers are encouraged to be active participants in their child’s schooling as links between home and school are valued. Events and school activities are enthusiastically supported by our Woodbridge families and the school's two representative groups - the School Board and P&C. These two groups work alongside our team of staff to maintain the respectful, successful, and happy environment that defines our school.

I welcome this opportunity of sharing a snapshot of our school with you.

Mr Paul Marshall (Principal)
